Currently we offer an Elite Junior and Youth Academy , Femino squad , Holiday squad and School squad, and are dedicated to increasing the skill development and training opportunities for kids in the Western Victoria region.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
To grow and develop the game of football throughout Western Victoria by providing children with a fun, safe, and skill-based introduction to the game. We aim to build strong connections with the local community through outreach programs and events that foster a sense of belonging and unity.
HIGH PERFORMANCE PATHWAY
To create elite football players who excel both on and off the field. Our pathway fosters technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness, mental resilience, and the values of sacrifice and competition. We strive to develop players who are not only talented athletes but also exemplary individuals. We believe that winning is the byproduct of great development, and our measures of success are not always reflected in trophies. We train to dominate, not just to compete, within a high-challenge, high-support environment.
Our vision is to establish a holistic development program that emphasizes both the technical skills required to succeed in football and the importance of passion, respect, and personal growth. We aspire to produce well-rounded individuals who are not only skilled footballers but also respectful and passionate about the game. By nurturing these aspects, the Western Victoria Football Academy aims to become a beacon of excellence in both community engagement and high performance. We recognize that true success is measured by the growth and development of our players, ensuring they thrive in a supportive yet challenging environment.
Football is community. It draws people together to work towards a common goal and we want to instill this mindset in our young players.
We all know a champion team will beat a team of champions. Our kids will learn that success is better together.
Respect is expected and extended to all levels of WVFA, from the players and coaches through to parents, families, supporters, sponsors and volunteers.
Is there anything better than watching your child learning, laughing and maybe nutmegging a coach?
We believe high roads are for walking and shortcuts are for avoiding.
Our ultimate goal is to assist each child to find their own level of excellence, whether that be finding happiness in playing socially with their friends or reaching the professional levels of the game.
